User Guide

From local project to Android and iOS release in six steps.
1
Login & Link
Authenticate with Mach Dashboard, then link your project. This creates a `mach.config.json` in your root and connects it to the dashboard for builds, secrets, and credentials.
mach login
mach link
Using more than one account? CLI 2.12.0 and later keep your saved logins. Run mach accounts to list them, mach switch to choose one for this project folder, and mach me to check the selected identity. The CLI Reference explains account preferences and CI token priority.
Each build has a read-only Delivery overview linking its build result, recorded tests and client feedback. Store submission appears only for mobile builds intended for store delivery, excluding simulators and development clients. A completed store upload does not mean the store approved or published the app. Charges are not displayed on the build details page.
In the client portal, administrators can add version-specific release notes and optionally allow guest feedback when creating or updating a guest link. Feedback stays attached to the exact shared build. Guest names are unverified, and approval never submits or publishes an app. Feedback is off by default; rotating, expiring or revoking the link stops further feedback through it. Previous feedback stays in the administrator-only sharing dialog.
2
Set Up Credentials
Interactively provision iOS certificates & provisioning profiles, or Android keystores. Mach supports multiple bundle IDs per project — select or add one at the start of the flow. Everything is stored securely in the Dashboard with passwords encrypted at rest.
mach credentials
# CI/CD: target a specific bundle ID directly
mach credentials --bundle-id com.example.app.staging
3
Manage Secrets
Add environment variables that get injected at build time. Secrets are scoped by environment (development, staging, production) and encrypted at rest.
mach env set API_URL=https://api.myapp.com
mach env list
4
Local Iteration
Use local builds to test native modules, Flutter plugins, or UI changes before using a cloud runner. Expo projects can use Dev Clients, while Flutter projects run their configured SDK, flavor, target, and mode. Mach injects the selected environment automatically.
mach build --platform ios --local --build-profile development
5
Cloud Builds
Ready to scale? One command kicks off a full cloud build — Mach handles everything in the background and streams live logs to your terminal. Artifacts appear in the dashboard when done.
mach build --platform ios --profile production
Run mach agent on your Mac to enable the Install Hub — it discovers connected iOS and Android devices so you can install builds directly from the dashboard. Use mach agent install to keep it running after login.

mach agent install
mach agent status
6
Audit & Submit
Run a security audit to catch issues before release, then submit your binary to the App Store or Google Play — all from the terminal.
mach audit
mach submit --latest --platform android --profile production
mach submit --latest --platform ios --profile production
Use `mach config --profile production` at any time to see the fully resolved configuration for a build profile, including inherited values and injected secrets.
